2016 Archive Pinot Noir
Every year we source Pinot Noir grapes from vineyards throughout the Central Okanagan. Each lot of wine is fermented and kept separately in barrels until we assess it for quality after six months of aging. A blend of the best lots is determined based on ripe fruit, tannin structure, acidity and complexity. We put the premium blend back into 500L French oak puncheons for an additional six months of aging. Archive Pinot Noir showcases the best of the vintage and provides a record of this wonderful grape grown in this beautiful place.

Tasting Notes
A full-bodied example of Pinot Noir showing dark cherry, raspberry, hints of spice, rose petal and subtle, well-integrated oak components. On the palate it is silky, yet it has the structure and flavor to be paired with rich dishes such as duck confit or an earthy mushroom risotto.

2016 Archive Reserve is a premium blend of Merlot and Zweigelt grown in Lake Country, BC. We have been blending these two red varieties for 15 years with the intent that the sum is better than its parts. Together, they provide the best example of a bold, structured red wine grown in our region. Plush, ripe Merlot fruit is lifted by the acidity, dark colour and spice notes of the Zweigelt. We employ a technique that allows us to separate the most concentrated and gently-extracted fraction of wine from every fermentation. We age it in our best French oak barrels for 18 months and bottle it unfined and unfiltered. Archive Reserve showcases the best of the vintage and is made to be aged and collected.

Tasting Notes
The bouquet features black currant, dark chocolate, hints of espresso and black pepper. On the palate it is full bodied, with rich fruit, structured tannins and spicy oak on the finish.
